Before that I ran a marketing consulting practice in Seattle for 13 years. My greatest complement was when someone said "You think like a customer". That's how I approach real estate, too.
What really gives me the greatest satisfaction is helping a buyer get the "right" home or a seller say "good deal" when it closes. I also love to answer questions. I've answered over 400 on Trulia, but I'm ready for yours any time.
I'm a bit of a techie, but my favorite hobby is golf, though I don't get to spend as much time at it as would be needed to call myself a "golfer". Maybe next year. Right now, I need to help you with real estate.
